Full job description
Job Title: Color Matching Technician
Location: Santa Fe Springs, CA
Type: Contract To Hire
Compensation: $20/hr
Work Model: Onsite
Hours: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM; 40 hours per week
Responsibilities

Match colors and create stucco samples

Input color formulas into the color system

Prepare sample shipments and deliveries

Inventory lab supplies products

Coordinate / Fulfill sample requests with department team
Requirements
-
Ability to see and define color
-
Able to stand long periods of time
-
Able to lift 50 lbs.

Previous color matching in the ink or paint industry is a plus
-
Experience mixing liquid or dry colors to achieve specific shades
-
Basic math skills (adding, subtracting, division) for scale-up processes

Cannot be color blind
-
Candidates with experience in printing ink manufacturing, paint companies like Benjamin Moore or Sherwin Williams, or retail paint sections at stores like Home Depot or Lowes are preferred

Must be flexible to work Saturdays during busy periods, typically from early morning until noon
