Job Description Finance & Control department in Circle K Business Centre in Riga, Latvia is a part of Global Finance organization and responsible for full accounting and financial reporting cycle for Circle K European operations. Circle K Business Centre in Riga, Latvia is looking for:

Accountant

Type of Employment: Permanent

Location: Riga, Latvia

Visa requirements: A valid work permit from the EU/EEA (relocation assistance is not provided)

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Perform vendor account reconciliation and analysis, resolving discrepancies and errors

  • Participate in new process development and process improvement activities

  • Process supplier invoices in Accounts payable module

  • Perform periodical closing procedures

  • Execute and document process controls related to financial compliance

  • Perform other department's functions according to a manager's assignment

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

  • Previous experience within accounting or finance

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics or a student within this area

  • Fluency in English to communicate with colleagues in Europe

  • Previous experience with ERP (JDE experience will be considered as a plus)

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

  • Precise, analytical, organized, solution oriented and stress resistant personality

  • A self-motivated, positive mindset and the ability to work well as part of a team
