Commercial Brake Operator- 2nd Shift

Eaton’s ES GEIS BLD division is currently seeking a Commercial Brake Operator- 2nd Shift. The hourly rate for this position is $22.71/hour + $1.20/hour shift differential per hour. The core hours are 2:30pm to 11:00pm. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. What you’ll do:

• Set up, understand and proficiently operate all Press Brake controls.

• Troubleshoot various and appropriate machine problems.

• ID and tag shop orders with product. Retrieve/enter data into system.

• Ensure quality and proper documentation on all parts.

• Maintain components and supplies as required to operate efficiently.

• Brake components based on print specifications.

• Perform 5S & Continuous Improvement activities.

Qualifications:

Basic (Required) Qualifications:

• Must have a high school diploma or GED from an accredited institution

• Must have a minimum of one (1) year Press Brake or Machine Operations experience in industrial/manufacturing environment

• No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates that currently reside within the immediate geographical area of Sherman, TX will be considered.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Computer skills to include bending program loading.

• Solid math skills; analytical and reasoning skills.

Position Criteria:

• Able to stand on feet continuously during shift and able to lift 50 lbs without assistance.

• Requires PPE to include safety glasses, steel-toe shoes, leather gloves, and hearing protection (as required in high noise areas).

• Environment exposure includes sharp objects, pinch points, oil, sparks
