Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized instruction to students receiving special education services.

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).

• Monitor student progress and maintain required documentation.

• Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families.

• Participate in student evaluations, team meetings, and program planning.

• Deliver instructional support, accommodations, and modifications based on student needs.

• Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Arizona Special Education Teaching License OR Arizona Alternative SPED Licensure.

• Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card (FPCC).

• Must meet all Arizona state, district, and federal requirements.

• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university.

• Minimum one year of teaching experience.

• Standard Elementary, Secondary, or Special Education Teaching Certification.

• Learning Behavior Specialist (LBS1) endorsement.

• Current CPR certification if required.

• Current TB screening and health documentation if required.
