Full job description

Wage - $39,644 annually

Schedule – Full Time, 8hr shifts, Monday – Friday

What you will be doing: You’ll be responsible for coordinating and implementing the career preparation period program for new students, in compliance with government and management directives.

Essential functions:

  1. Develop, prepare, and deliver career preparation lessons; use a variety of teaching strategies to meet student learning needs.

  2. Recommend an appropriate training program for each assigned student, using background files, personal interviews, tests, and a variety of other assessment tools.

  3. Conduct pre-arrival contacts with potential enrollees; prepare and mail pre-arrival and safe arrival letters on a timely basis, and coordinate arrival activities with other center departments.

  4. Participate in student employability programs and activities.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred. Directly related experience may be considered in lieu of formal

  • One (1) year related experience required

  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
