Job Description
A client in the defense industry is looking for someone to join their team as a Quality Technician! This person will be responsible for performing inspections, tests, analyses and audits of products and processes including microelectronics, precision mechanical, test equipment and fully integrated systems. They will be responsible for ensuring each product and/or process remains compliant and ensure quality standards for both customer and regulatory requirements. They will assist in the inspection of repairs for subassemblies and system level integrated platforms. This person will collaborate with quality engineers to develop inspection requirements, techniques and implement quality plans.

Skills and Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in mechanical inspections
· Experience performing inspections of assemblies using calipers, thread gauges, pin gauges, and micrometers.
· Experience reading and understanding of engineering drawings and bills of materials
· Understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
