We are in search of Restorative LPN Nurse

Confer with the Director of Nursing Services and/or licensed nursing personnel regarding restorative care of residents in the facility.

Participates in MDS/RAI process and care planning of restorative care needs based on policies and procedures.

Initiate requests for therapy/evaluation. Must respond to requests from the resident, physician or nursing staff. Be liaison between therapy and nursing department.

Evaluate the resident and his/her records or charts, and discriminate between normal and abnormal findings in order to recognize when to refer the resident to a physician for evaluation, supervision or directions.

Implement and maintain established policies and procedures relative to restorative care. Must interpret the policy and procedures to the physician, resident and family members.
Qualifications:
Must be Licensed Nurse in good standing and meet all applicable Federal and State requirements
Must demonstrate basic nursing skills and knowledge necessary to care for the elderly and disabled
Must demonstrate leadership and supervisory skills
Must have patience, tact, enthusiasm and positive attitude towards the elderly and disabled
