Full job description
Assesses, plans and delivers quality patient care within the scope of Oncology services meeting both physical and psycho-social needs of the patient population served (child, adolescent, adult, geriatric). Provides care indicative of professional expectations of a registered professional nurse and adheres to nursing standards. Coordinates care planning with other disciplines. RN’s working within the infusion center provide infusion services to patients following appropriate safety and compliance guidelines. Responsible and accountable for the care given to the patient and for the decision regarding nursing tasks delegated to licensed and unlicensed personnel. Participates in audits and performance improvement activities. Works to promote OZH’s vision, mission, values, and standards as well as the Oncology department’s developmental plan of care. Current Missouri RN License Current Infusion Certification (Oncology Nursing Society) BLS
