This job has a screen-out element which will be used to determine minimum eligibility for this job. The Screen-out Element for this position is: ABILITY TO DO THE WORK OF an ELECTRICIAN, WG-2805-10 without more than normal supervision such as: Reading and interpreting sketches, blueprints, schematics, and other engineering specifications pertaining to electrical systems; Constructing, maintaining, modifying and repairing electric power and lighting systems and all associated circuits; Applying knowledge of ohmmeters, ammeters, voltmeters, phase rotation meters, industrial analyzers, and recording ammeters; AND Installing raceways, supports, electrical wiring, switches, outlets, fuse boxes, meters, indicating or recording instruments, light fixtures, electric motors, transformers and appliances. You will construct, maintain, install, modify, and/or repair various electrical wiring systems, electrical controls, electrically operated equipment and instruments, and light/heavy electrical machinery. You will install, maintain, and repair public address, annunciator, and other communications systems. You will test and repair electrical equipment and appliances. You will answer all electrical emergency calls, making a decision as to what repairs and/or installations are needed and performing the necessary work. Security clearance required: Secret
