Full job description
Location: Ishpeming, MI
Cleveland-Cliffs has immediate opportunities for Electronic Repairpersons at our Tilden Mine operations located in Ishpeming, Michigan.
Summary of Responsibilities:
-
Preventive & reactive maintenance
-
Troubleshooting electronic equipment
-
Installing, maintaining and calibrating instrumentation for process such as flow/temp/pressure/level ect.
-
Troubleshooting control and permissive circuits containing instrumentation
-
Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
-
Associate’s degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or other related field or at least 2 years of directly related full-time work experience is required
-
Must be proficient in reading prints and schematics for installation and troubleshooting purposes
-
Must have general PLC knowledge and experience
-
Must be willing to work safely and wear appropriate personal protective equipment
-
Must be willing to work rotating shifts including nights, weekends and holidays
-
Must be willing to work overtime
Preferred Qualifications:
- Preference for candidates with working knowledge in electrical or electronic maintenance in an industrial or mining environment.
