Finance Manager, Reality Labs

Summary:

Meta is seeking a Finance Manager for the x-RL Finance “cross team” within the Finance & Business Planning (FBP) organization. In this highly impactful role, you will be a key team member of our RL-wide horizontal cross team responsible for core deliverables and projects that can be most efficiently completed centrally within the RL Pillar. We expect the x-RL cross team to continuously strive to make RL Finance more efficient, while delivering high quality, critical planning work by leveraging deep expertise in RL Finance processes, x-RL Finance relationships, and visibility to work spanning our vertical teams within RL Finance. Successful candidates for this role will need well-rounded knowledge of core FP&A concepts and experience building cross-functional relationships and communicating financial insights to diverse stakeholders.

Required Skills:

Finance Manager, Reality Labs Responsibilities:

1. Provide strategic guidance and lead cross-team ownership for a key Reality Labs vertical within RL Finance, empowering the team to achieve their goals

2. Spearhead the development and implementation of standardized processes across the RL Cross team, ensuring seamless collaboration and efficiency

3. Lead close and forecast cycles across a key Reality Labs vertical within RL Finance, including defining timelines, templates, and processes, and the preparation of flux commentary and forecasts

4. Help execute the annual budget process, including partnering with vertical FP&A teams to provide support on workstreams to allocate resources, inform key business decisions, and execute operational plans on

5. Drive key systems efforts across Meta Reality Labs Finance

6. Develop and maintain proactive, collaborative partnerships between the RL vertical FP&A teams, RL Consolidations, Corporate FP&A and other cross-functional teams, including Accounting, Technical Accounting, and Enterprise Engineering

7. Support risk management, internal controls, and financial compliance

8. Provide thought partnership and foster collaboration across the RL Finance organization

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of experience in FP&A, consulting, investment banking, business strategy, business operations, and/or analytics

2. Superior communication skills to tailor messaging for audiences of varying levels of seniority and technical experience

3. Understanding of financial statement analysis and core financial planning processes

4. Proven track record of building cross-functional relationships and partnering with senior leadership across organizations

5. Proven Excel and analytical skills to translate large amounts of data into both insights and recommendations

6. Experience prioritizing competing workstreams based on impact, deadlines, and stakeholder needs

1. Experience adhering to and implementing responsible, ethical AI practices (e.g., risk assessment, bias mitigation, quality and accuracy reviews)

2. Experience driving operational efficiency and execution

3. Demonstrated ongoing AI skill development (e.g., prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration) and staying current with emerging AI technologies

4. Experience working with financial planning systems, preferably Oracle products (e.g., Hyperion Essbase)

5. Experience with improving financial planning systems and tools (e.g., Oracle Hyperion Planning/Essbase/Fusion/Cloud) to drive process efficiencies

6. Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize/redesign workflows and drive measurable impact (e.g., efficiency gains, quality improvements)

Public Compensation:

$120,000/year to $175,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
