Full job description
Our client, a leader in the aerospace industry, is seeking a Paint helper to join their team. As a Paint helper, you will be part of the production team supporting quality assurance and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: 1st Shift Paint Helper
Location: Lynwood, CA
Schedule: M-F (saturdays as needed - 6am-2:30pm + OT)
Pay Range: $18-20
What's the Job?

Mix and measure paint per specifications, ensuring accuracy before application.

Clean parts according to specifications and paint them according to required thickness.

Conduct post-paint inspections to ensure parts meet appearance and coverage standards.

Maintain a clean and safe paint booth environment, including changing filters and adhering to safety regulations.

Utilize personal protective equipment (PPE) as required under OSHA guidelines and maintain all paint equipment.
What's Needed?

High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) is required.

At least 1 year of experience in aircraft painting.

Ability to paint effectively on different surfaces and metals.

Strong understanding of safety regulations and proper PPE usage.

Ability to adapt to complex or non-routine situations with advanced skills.
