Caregivers Needed!

We are a trusted and respected organization that takes a responsible role in supporting our clients and their families, our employees, and our community. That’s why we are Senior Care Only Better. Would you like a rewarding and gratifying job as a caregiver where you can make a difference in someone's life? We are currently looking for caring, kind, dependable and personable individuals who desire to provide non-medical, in-home care to the elderly. Available Shifts are between 3 and 12 hours and include:

  • Overnights

  • Daytime

  • Mornings

  • Evenings

  • Weekends Primary Responsibilities

  • Companionship and conversation

  • Personal Care (assisting with bathing, grooming, dressing, bathroom needs, feeding)

  • Light Housekeeping/Household Management (incl. laundry and linen changing)

  • Apparel selection (i.e. laying out clothes)

  • Meal planning and preparation

  • Medication reminders

  • Mobility support (standby assist, transfer, hoyer lift)

  • Transportation using own or client’s vehicle

  • Helping family members learn safe care techniques

  • Tolerance to small pets (i.e. dogs and/or cats) Qualifications

  • Ability to treat clients with dignity and respect

  • Ability to read, write, and speak English at an average adult level and interpret the Plan of Care Document provided by Senior Helpers

  • Ability to drive is preferred

  • Valid US issued driver’s license with no serious driving violations

  • Ability to be flexible and adapt to new situations

  • Pass a criminal background check prior to employment with Senior Helpers

  • Prior experience with dementia patients and senior care, a plus, but not required

  • Must be able to be reached via phone or email for shift schedules, client updates and/or emergencies Competitive pay
