Job Description:
Sterilizes instruments following established protocols. Participates in in-service education programs and training. Maintains a clean and organized work environment. Assembles instrument trays accurately. Documents procedures and maintains thorough records. Ensures all equipment is properly cleaned and sterilized. Collaborates with team members to support hospital operations. Stocks patient care equipment efficiently. Handles specimens properly and ensures their correct disposition. Reviews and recommends changes to policies and procedures. Floats to other units as needed based on patient and census requirements. Performs other duties as assigned. Returns sterile instruments to their proper location. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Able to accurately identify instruments

Ability to operate Steam Sterilizers

Ability to operate Washer Disinfector

Accurately read and document Biological results.

Properly clean patient care equipment

Ability to accurately identify specialty instrumentation

Ability to accurately process complex instrumentation Education:

Pay Range:
$17.52 - $28.04
