Job Description

A company that develops high-energy laser systems for the department of defence is looking for a Senior Program Scheduler to join their finance team. This person will be an absolutely crucial addition to the company, and have a large hand in advocating for the needs, deadlines, budgets, and efficiencies of the program teams they support. This person will support solely government projects, and maintain at least 3 separate schedules at one time. The primary responsibilities include:

  • Managing programs across the state of Colorado

  • Creating visuals to provide updates to stakeholders and executives

  • Advocating for necessary project schedule updates to leaders

  • Building and maintaining schedules considering critical path analysis, resource loads, and work breakdown structures

This person will be largely in charge of tracking milestones, forecasting delays before they happen, identifying risks, and keeping projects on track.

The ideal candidate has strong skills in Microsoft Project, and has a motivated, creative personality. The salary range for this position is between $120,000-$160,000, but actual compensation details will be based on previous work experience, hard and soft skills, and interview outcomes. This role will required a 5 days/week in-office schedule in the company's Longmont, CO office to enjoy the team's collaborative culture, and build relationships with peers and project teams.
