Security Officer Overnight Patrol

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Monitoring in Roanoke Rapids, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and report security-related concerns. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and use computer or tablet systems as needed. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.

• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and reporting requirements.

• Conduct regular and random patrols of manufacturing areas, access points, exterior grounds, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.

• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, observing visitor and contractor activity, and documenting entries and departures in accordance with site-specific procedures.

• Report maintenance concerns, hazardous conditions, unusual activity, and other security-related observations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.

• Customer service experience is preferred.

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
