Pay Rate:

The pay rate for this job is $17 - $17 / hour*

What you'll be doing as a Recycling Worker :

• Moving loose or baled cardboard using manual pallet jacks, electric tuggers, or forklifts

• Loading and running industrial cardboard compactors and hydraulic baling machines to bundle materials

• Inspecting and separating clean cardboard from trash, plastics, and contaminated paper items

• Keeping work areas tidy, clearing debris, and following strict workplace safety guidelines

Available shifts:

Shift Timings: 1st Shift (Day), 3rd Shift (Night) and Weekends

Job requirements:

• Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment with PeopleReady

• Prior experience in recycling yard preferred but not required

• Able to repeatedly reach, bend, push, pull, and climb

• Lift up to 50 pounds

• Flexibility to work in all weather conditions

• Must be able to work in extreme hot enviroment

• Forklift experience a plus but no necessary

• Able to remain in a stationary position for up to 10 hours

• Background check and drug screening required
