Position Overview: Assists residents with activities of daily living, provides basic nursing care and assists in maintenance of a safe and clean environment under the direction and supervision of the RN or designee or Director of Nursing. Assists with transport or residents as needed via GMC fleet vehicles. Responsible for ensuring applying infection control practices while performing duties. Position accountable for all nursing care behaviors described in the Assistant job description. Responsible for providing residents with routine restorative nursing care and services in accordance with the resident's assessment care plan and as directed by supervisors. Ensures resident's needs are met while maintaining the highest degree of dignity.
Position Highlights:

Starting Rate: $15.21 + per hour (commensurate with experience)

Shift Differentials: $1.00 - $2.00 per hour

Sign On Bonus Eligible: $6,000 (if full time)

Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required. Completed State-certified nursing assistant program. Has received certification as Nursing Assistant I, and is currently listed with the DFS, Nursing Assistant Central Registry with no substantiated findings, misappropriation of property. Must be able to work under the direction of a licensed nurse and follow written or verbal instructions effectively. Certified in CPR.
