Licensed Psychiatric Technician Duties & Responsibilities:

Provide basic nursing care to patients with mental health conditions
-
Monitor patient behavior, mood, and vital signs
-
Assist with daily living activities (hygiene, meals, mobility)
-
Administer medications as directed and within scope of practice
-
Support patients during therapy and treatment activities
-
Report changes in patient condition to nurses or physicians
-
Maintain patient safety and prevent self-harm or injury
-
Document patient care and observations
-
Assist in crisis intervention and de-escalation
-
Follow treatment plans and facility protocols
**Minimum Qualifications **
-
Current, valid, and unrestrictedCA license/certification in good standing, as required for the position.

Minimum of 1 yearof recent experience as a Licensed Psychiatric Technician.

Copy of current, completed Primary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required.

Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents (e.g., .BLS, N95 fit test, immunization records, TB test, or other client-specific requirements).
