Full job description
Job Title: Engineering Technician
Location: South Plainfield, NJ
Type: Contract to Hire
Compensation: $25/hour
Contractor Work Model: Onsite
Hours: 1st Shift
ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN
Responsibilities:
-
Responsible for standard technician duties when no one else is available.
-
Maintain standardization charts on all tools within the characterization laboratory
-
Qualify new machinery and requalify tools that have been repaired.
-
Actively monitor equipment’s health, and plan preventive maintenance when needed
-
Generate operational documents such as standard procedures as needed
-
Correspond with outside venders in professional manner
-
Make any solutions that laboratory might need for etching/ polaron.
-
Track chemical inventory and make sure that it is ordered when necessary.
-
Coordinate repairs on malfunctioning tools.
-
Approve of any changes to lab procedures
-
Operate System 28/G4 when no-one else is available.

Ability to train in creating and collecting calibration data for adjustments and use in MQW cal for growth

Record gas consumption every week.
Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree or above in Materials Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering

Must be fluent in English.

Cleanroom experience is preferred
