We are seeking a dependable and hands-on Maintenance Technician to support the daily upkeep of our office and manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for performing general building maintenance, light electrical and carpentry repairs, preventative maintenance, and ensuring our production environment remains safe, organized, and fully operational. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, responds quickly to facility needs, and plays a key role in supporting uninterrupted operations across our aerospace manufacturing campus.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform general maintenance and repair tasks throughout office and manufacturing production areas

  • Handle drywall patching, light framing, painting, and minor carpentry repairs

  • Perform basic electrical maintenance such as replacing outlets, ballasts, fixtures, and switches (no advanced wiring)

  • Support upkeep of flooring, ceiling tiles, shelving, and facility fixtures

  • Assist with moving, setting up, and maintaining facility equipment or workspaces

  • Operate hand tools, power tools, ladders, and other equipment safely and efficiently

  • Respond promptly to facility maintenance requests and prioritize tasks based on operational needs

  • Perform routine preventative maintenance on facility infrastructure

  • Maintain organized work areas and track tools, equipment, and materials

  • Provide occasional custodial support as needed to ensure continuity of facility operations

  • Adhere to all company safety procedures and OSHA regulations

  • Additional tasks assigned by the Facilities Manager

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of experience in building maintenance, carpentry, or general contracting

  • Demonstrated ability to perform basic electrical repairs and carpentry work with minimal supervision

  • Skilled in the safe use of power tools, ladders, and hand tools

  • Basic understanding of drywall, framing, paint, and fixture repair

  • Ability to read blueprints and schematics

  • High school diploma or GED required

  • Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work both independently and as part of a team

  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
