Description

Astor Services seeks aPart-timeLPNto support the health needs of children ages 0–5 in our Head Start programs.30 hours/week, Monday–Friday, summers off.

Responsibilities

Provide first aid and respond to routine health concerns.
Conduct daily health checks and basic screenings.
Administer medications per policy.
Maintain health records and ensure compliance with NYS, OCFS, and Head Start standards.
Review physical and dental forms; assist families in securing any necessary follow-up care.
Communicate health updates to families and staff.
Support intake and promote healthy practices.
Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team in a supportive, child-centered environment.
Use basic computer systems for data entry and documentation.
