Full job description
Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to join their team. As a Supplier Quality Engineer, you will be part of the Quality Department supporting the Supplier Management and Business Management Systems teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Supplier Quality Engineer
Location: Painesville, Ohio
Pay Range: $80,000 - $120,000
What's the Job?

Develop and implement supplier quality control procedures and conduct comprehensive audits to ensure compliance with quality standards.

Manage and oversee the Approved Vendor List, including onboarding and release processes.

Collaborate with suppliers to resolve quality issues and drive corrective actions for continuous improvement.

Support internal and external audits, including scheduling, conducting, and documenting results.

Assist in managing calibration systems, non-conformance reports, and supplier development initiatives.
What's Needed?
-
Bachelor's Degree in engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.

Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in quality assurance or supplier quality engineering.

Experience with AS 9100 or other relevant quality standards.

Proficiency in quality management analysis tools and statistical process control (SPC).

Strong understanding of quality control principles, root cause analysis, and audit methodologies.
