Salary Range: $20.29 To $21.33 Hourly

The Arc of Opportunity is looking for Direct Support Professionals-Relief to fill that mission.
Salary & Benefits:
Pay: $20.29/hr without MAP certification or $21.33/hr with MAP certification
Schedule:
Relief staff in our Day Program are offered shifts as they become available and may fall during the following days & times: Monday to Friday 9am to 3pm.
Essential Job Functions:

Actively Advocate for individuals served demonstrating the Agency’s values and mission in all interactions

Leveraging your knowledge and interests in the community to empower individuals and enhance their quality of life

Implement Individual Service Plans
-
Assist individuals with Activities of Daily living, including household tasks and chores
-
Assist individuals with appointments, including driving the Agency’s van
-
Present in a respectful and professional manner in all interaction
-
Attend all trainings and implement knowledge throughout your work

Communicate in an effective manner whether orally or written
Qualifications:
-
Highschool diploma or GED
-
Active and valid driver’s license
-
Ability to pass background checks
-
Ability to lift to 50lbs and sustained periods of sitting or standing
-
Ability to assist in a restraint if needed
-
Experience in substance abuse or mental health preferred
