Job Title: Chemical Technician - 2nd ShiftJob Description
We are seeking a dedicated Chemical Technician to join our team on the 2nd shift. The role involves ensuring the quality of products, adhering to ISO9001 standards, and conducting chemical testing. You will be responsible for maintaining and validating customer and product specifications in our quality management system.
Responsibilities

Prepare safety topics and chair weekly safety meetings.

Ensure the quality of products and adherence to ISO9001 standards.

Cover any area of testing required in the lab when necessary.

Monitor sample status in the QC Database and close and release product results as required.

Identify, communicate, and recommend resolution for personnel issues to the Manager.

Address errors such as missing labels, incorrect information, and erroneous data by communicating, retraining, and recommending corrective actions.

Enter and maintain all new customer and product specifications in the quality management system.

Validate Certificates of Analysis first released from quality management and ensure correct specifications are in place.

Initiate specification requests if no specifications are available.

Monitor raw materials in quality inspection and ensure timely release.

Resolve raw material specification issues.
Essential Skills

Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

Experience with chemical testing.

Understanding of wet chemistry and raw material knowledge.
Work Environment
This position operates on the 2nd shift, from 3 PM to 11:30 PM. The work environment is dynamic, involving both laboratory and production settings, and requires adherence to safety and quality standards.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of South Plainfield, NJ.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
