Our client, a leading medical technology and diagnostic systems organization, is seeking a Mechanical Test Engineer – Fluidics & Mechatronics to join their team. As a Mechanical Test Engineer, you will be part of the Mechanical Engineering and Product Development organization supporting cross-functional Design, R&D, and Validation Engineering teams. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving abilities, and effective communication skills, which will align successfully within the organization.

Pay Range:
$54.56 - $68.29 per hour
What's the Job?

Develop, build, and support fluidic and mechanical test fixtures for diagnostic medical device subsystems.

Create, execute, and document test plans in collaboration with design and product development engineers.

Perform testing, collect and analyze data, and generate detailed technical reports with findings and recommendations.

Design 3D components and assemblies using CAD software to support testing and validation activities.

Support engineering investigations, design reviews, and laboratory operations to ensure product reliability, quality, and performance.
What's Needed?
-
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or related engineering discipline, or equivalent industry experience.

Minimum of 4 years of experience in product design, development, testing, manufacturing, or validation of mechanical systems involving fluidics or motion control.

Experience setting up and operating data acquisition (DAQ) systems and laboratory instrumentation such as pressure sensors, flow meters, force transducers, and thermocouples.

Proficiency with NX CAD or comparable 3D CAD software for part and assembly modeling.

Strong technical documentation, analytical problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
