Job Descriptions:
Support care before it even begins. As a Scheduling Specialist at Chapa-De Indian Health, you’ll thoughtfully build and manage provider schedules, ensuring the right coverage is in place to deliver seamless access and exceptional care for every patient.
This role is perfect for someone who thrives on organization, anticipates needs before they arise, and takes pride in creating structure that directly support both providers and the patients we serve.
Hourly Pay: $24.55-28.35
Benefit Highlights:

Employer-paid Health Insurance (medical, dental and vision): 100% for employee and 80% for dependents.

Duties:
-
Create, manage, and adjust daily provider schedules for Medical and Behavioral Health teams in scheduling system.

Monitor scheduling metrics and proactively communicate scheduling capacity, supply-demand variations, and coverage needs.

Coordinate coverage for provider leave (PTO/CME), including scheduling locum providers and managing real-time sick call adjustments.

Maintain scheduling protocols, templates, and dashboards while ensuring accuracy in group visits, meeting blocks, and provider availability.

Serve as the key liaison between scheduling and operations to ensure alignment with staffing resources, public health trends, and patient access goals.
Required Experience:
Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple schedules, while following guidelines, policies and procedures.

Experience with Microsoft Platform and ideally EMR.

Current and in good standing: CDL, vehicle insurance and DMV report.
