Schedule: PRN Shift: 24 Hours (United States of America) Address: 2293 W Sand Lake Rd City: Orlando State: Florida Postal Code: 32809 Job Description:

Shift: PRN (Per Diem) as needed to include overnight, weekends, holidays Address: 2293 Sandlake Rd

  • Practicing infection control standards and using approved PPE and disinfectant agents.
  • Follows department protocols for patient identification, informed consent, and time-out procedures prior to starting exams.
  • Performs high-quality CT examinations in accordance with provider orders and departmental protocols, ensuring optimal image quality for accurate diagnosis.
  • Reviews patient history and clinical information to confirm exam appropriateness and identify potential contraindications.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Ability to learn and use Radiology software packages such as Fuji/Agfa PACS application, CT scanners and workstations Siemens SyngoVia, EMR such as Cerner/Epic. [Required]

Ability to quickly learn and follow departmental policies and procedures. [Required] Maintain all required registries and licenses to perform imaging procedures. [Required]

Ability to follow basic radiation safety concepts of time, shielding and distance to keep exposure levels as low as reasonably achievable for patients and staff. [Required]

Ability to complete exams in an acceptable time frame to meet ED/Observation TAT goals. [Required]

Ability to assess, start and confirm appropriate placement of IV’s for use in CT studies. [Required]

The ability to assess, explain and perform CT and XR studies on patients of all ages. [Required]

Ability to learn and complete CTA Reconstructions. Specifically, Cardiac CTA. [Required]

Past CTA Reconstruction skills [Preferred]

Education:

  • High School Grad or equivalent [Required]

  • Associate [Preferred]

Work Experience:

  • 3+ years radiology experience [Preferred]

Licenses and Certifications:

  • Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required] AND

  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - Computed Tomography (ARRT-CT) [Required] OR

  • Registered Technologist - Magnetic Resonance Imaging (R.T.(MR)ARRT)) [Required]

Pay Range:

$26.08 - $53.35 Background Screening Requirement (Florida Law)
