Full job description

Job Title: Production Operator

Location: Bethlehem, Pennsylvania

Schedule: 3rd shift - 7:30pm-7am

Type: Contract

Overview

A hands-on production operator supporting a 24/7 regulated operation, responsible for running equipment, maintaining GMP documentation, and safely handling chemicals/hazardous materials while keeping production on schedule and audit-ready.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor manufacturing equipment and processes.

  • Follow GMP and FDA procedures and maintain accurate documentation.

  • Troubleshoot process issues and escalate maintenance concerns when necessary.

  • Safely handle chemicals and hazardous materials while following PPE requirements.

  • Maintain production schedules and ensure areas remain audit-ready.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.

  • Ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of production experience, preferably in pharmaceutical or chemical manufacturing; food manufacturing experience is also acceptable.

  • Experience working in GMP or FDA-regulated environments and understanding their role within the manufacturing process.

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities with examples from previous roles.

  • Comfortable working around hazardous materials and wearing PPE at all times.
