Description

Under general supervision of the LVN Supervisor, Site Manager and or Radiology Manager this position will assists physician/provider with all general medicine or specialized medical practice duties as a Medical Assistant within the scope of practice.

As the limited X-ray Technician perform diagnostic x-rays within their licensure for patients of all ages and assumes responsibility for accuracy under the direction of the radiologist; works effectively with patients and other clinic personnel. The limited x-ray technician is also responsible for all duties relating to the darkroom.

Required qualifications:

  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.

  • 2 years of Medical assisting experience in a clinic setting.

  • 2 years of Experience providing a high level of customer service in a fast paced environment, including handling confidential data with discretion.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Coursework/Training: Graduate of an accredited medical assisting program with an externship (Applied learning) or

  • Coursework/Training: Has completed medical training in the United States Armed Forces or

  • Coursework/Training: Has worked as a Medical Assistant in a clinic environment for at least six months

  • National Medical Assistant Certification upon hire.

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
