Full job description
Our client, an innovative leader in the industrial sapphire manufacturing industry, is seeking a Technician to join their team. As a Technician, you will be part of the manufacturing department supporting the growth and development of high-quality crystal products. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Technician
Location: Milford, NH
Pay Range: $20-$25/hr
Shift: Second and third shifts (Monday-Friday 3:50pm-12:00am or 11:50pm-8:00am)
What's the Job?

Perform crystal growth machine setups and operations for various industrial sapphire products such as rods, ribbons, tubes, sheets, and specialty items.

Monitor and control material growth processes, ensuring adherence to specifications and safety protocols.

Inspect samples, adjust machine parameters, and perform data collection to maintain product quality.

Operate multiple machines, utilizing microscopes, camera monitors, and shielded viewers for continuous observation.

Set up and adjust die components, safety devices, and machine parts according to detailed checklists and specifications.
What's Needed?

High School Diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or specialized certification preferred.

Ability to operate machinery safely and efficiently in a manufacturing environment.

Basic understanding of manufacturing processes, blueprints, and specifications.

Proficiency in shop math and basic computer skills for data entry and record-keeping.

Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform tasks requiring manual dexterity.
