Campus Cooks & Prep Cooks – Multiple Immediate Openings
Pay Rate: $18 per hour
Schedule: Evening shifts with weekend availability required; full-time, part-time, and weekend-only opportunities available
Assignment Length: School Year
Our client in Waterville is hiring 10+ Campus Cooks and Prep Cooks for immediate openings supporting a busy campus dining environment. These positions pay $18 per hour and are anticipated to last through the school year .
This is a great opportunity for experienced kitchen professionals seeking steady work in a team-oriented setting . Whether your strengths are food preparation , salad and sandwich assembly , or cooking menu items from recipes , you'll play an important role in delivering quality meals while building valuable culinary experience .
Typical daily duties:

Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and established standards
-
Perform food prep including knife work, salad preparation, sandwich assembly, and ingredient preparation

Maintain food quality, proper temperatures, and attractive presentation throughout service

Support efficient kitchen operations while following food safety and sanitation standards

Assist with batch cooking and inventory management to reduce waste and ensure product availability
What we're looking for:

Previous experience as a cook, prep cook, line cook, deli worker, cafeteria cook, or similar kitchen role

Ability to safely use knives and perform food preparation tasks including salads, sandwiches, and ingredient prep

Experience following recipes and preparing menu items in a fast-paced food service environment

Dependable attendance and the ability to work evenings and weekends

Strong teamwork and communication skills
