Description
MISTRAS is looking for dedicated Level II RT/CR Weld Quality Technicians local to the Midland, TX area for full-time positions.
- $1,500 sign-On bonus offered for qualified candidates.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES/ACTIVITIES:

Perform piping/vessel inspections in a lay down yard (Fab Shop) using Radiography and report findings.

Train RT assistant, run the film and grade the film per specific procedures directed by the customer.

Perform to set up and calibrate equipment and interpret and evaluate results with respect to applicable codes, standards, and specifications.

Be thoroughly familiar with the scope and limitations of the methods for which qualified and exercise assigned responsibility for on-the-job-training and guidance of trainees and NDT level I personnel.

Organize and report the results of NDT tests.

Generate NDT data, organize data, and report findings. Evaluate data for disposition.

Other duties as assigned
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Sufficient classroom hours, and OJT for Level II RT, MT, PT, UTT and/or CR Weld Quality.

High school diploma or GED

Must Have valid TWIC card

Must have valid state card
-
Must be able to pass DISA background and drug/alcohol screening
