Full job description

The Opportunity

This role is responsible for coordinating the movement, storage, and shipment of materials and finished goods to support efficient production operations and on-time customer delivery. The position plays a key role in maintaining inventory accuracy, ensuring safe material handling, supporting food packaging quality standards, and helping create a safe, organized, and efficient warehouse environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the movement, storage, and shipment of raw materials, work-in-process, and finished goods.

  • Safely load, unload, transport, and stage materials using forklifts, motorized pallet jacks, and other approved material-handling equipment.

  • Generate and maintain accurate barcode labels, shipping documentation, inventory records, and material tracking information.

  • Monitor equipment and operational processes to support safe and efficient workflow.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with 5S standards and housekeeping expectations.

  • Promote food packaging safety, product quality, and regulatory compliance by following established procedures and promptly reporting concerns.

  • Participate in training, continuous improvement initiatives, and departmental projects.

  • Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety requirements.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support operational objectives.

  • High school diploma or GED required.

  • Ability to read, understand, and apply information from instruction manuals, procedure manuals, and work instructions.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

  • Ability to safely operate material-handling equipment or obtain required certifications.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

  • Strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
