Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our CT Technologist, you will utilize your expertise to capture precise diagnostic images, enabling our Radiologists to accurately diagnose and/or rule out diverse medical conditions.

Every day, you will adeptly create detailed cross-sectional images of the skeleton, tissues, and internal organs. Your compassionate interaction and skill in patient care will be crucial, as you play a significant role in fostering a positive and comforting patient experience throughout the imaging process.

To be successful in this role, you will deeply understand the critical importance of diagnostic imaging. This includes a comprehensive knowledge of general imaging workflow, various patient positioning techniques, and the ability to consistently capture clear results essential for timely and accurate diagnoses that guide effective patient care.

  • Performs CT exams

  • Prepares equipment

  • Equipment and room maintenance after each procedure

  • Completes all quality checks and Ensures that equipment logs are maintained

  • Reviews the physician orders to verify the type of diagnostic test requested

  • Inform patient of diagnostic procedure being performed

Job Requirements

Required:

  • Must have completed an accredited Radiology Program

  • One (1) year of experience in Radiology

  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT (R))

  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT (CT)) within nine (9) months of hire

  • Medical Radiographer (MRAD:TX)

  • BLS from the American Heart Association (AHA) with 14 days of hire

Preferred:

  • Associates Degree in Allied Health or Radiology

Pay Range

$32.30 - $53.30/hour
