St. Catherine of Siena Hospital is a proud member of Catholic Health and has served the residents of the Smithtown area for more than 50 years. St. Catherine’s is located on the north shore of Long Island in Smithtown. The campus is comprised of 296-bed not-for-profit community hospital; a 240-bed nursing and rehabilitation care center; and a 60,000 square foot medical office building. Our nurses, physicians, and support staff are devoted to providing advanced health care in an environment of compassion to our patients, their families, and our community. Job Details
REGISTERED NURSE RESPONSIBILITIES:

Utilizes all components of the nursing process in coordinating a patient-focused team providing direct and collaborative health care in the Operating Room designed to promote and restore optimal health of the patient.

Utilizes all components of the nursing process in providing care that reflects an understanding of individual cultural and religious diversities and needs, and recognition of patient rights.

Utilizes knowledge and expertise in case management to provide comprehensive, coordinated, seamless care to individuals and aggregate groups.

Coordinates, integrates and facilitates the patient/provider relationship.
QUALIFICATIONS:

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.

Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Current New York State RN License required.
-
CNOR certification required or must be working toward certification.

Minimum of one year practice in a medical/surgical setting required and one year experience in an Operating Room setting.

BLS certification required.
Salary Range
USD $55.13 - USD $64.36 /Hr.
This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include any differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
