Full job description
Job Title: Maintenance Technician III
Location: Lakewood, CO
Type: Direct Hire
Compensation: $36-40/hr + up to 7% annual bonus
Work Model: Onsite
Hours: 2nd shift Mon-Fri, 1:30PM-10PM, occasional OT coverage and occasionally helps on other shift
Responsibilities
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on simple/manual, semi-automated, and certain aspects of fully automated manufacturing equipment. Troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, controls, and electrical systems to ensure optimal equipment performance. Contribute to process optimization and scrap reduction through equipment design improvements and updates to operating and maintenance procedures. Independently troubleshoot equipment with a high degree of quality and reliability, implementing permanent corrective actions to eliminate recurrent problems.
Requirements
High School Degree or GED required.
2-5 years of troubleshooting experience with electrical, mechanical, hydraulic/pneumatic controls, and logic systems.
Experience with PLC programming, Ethernet communication, DeviceNet, and industrial networks, particularly in regulated environments (pharma, biotech, defense, aerospace).
Strong root cause analysis skills and experience supporting production and maintenance for medical devices.
Experience with extrusion/molding equipment is a major plus.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and contribute effectively to a team environment.
