Job Duties

POSITION SUMMARY

Serves as the first point of contact for technical support escalation for operations. Responsible for working alongside Manufacturing Engineers supporting technical operations.

Hours: M-Th 1:30 P.M-12:00 A.M.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide technical support of products, processes, materials, and equipment in order to achieve production goals (i.e., quality, delivery, cost, productivity, and safety) for assigned area

Identify and troubleshoot processes, material or equipment problems to minimize production down time and quality issues

Aid and monitor the containment of quality issues

Work with product development, tooling, and Manufacturing Engineers to introduce new product into production; including working on first article inspections

Provide tooling validation; modify existing and develop new tooling and fixtures

Program machines; updating routings

Revise existing documents, processes, and/or methods to correct or improve processes/product; submit red line drawings to MEs for ECOs or ECRs

Work with vendors/suppliers to procure tools and/or supplies as needed

Assist in Continuous Improvement (CI) projects, implementing new equipment or processes or improving existing ones

Work with departmental customers to improve material quality and delivery

Train and provide technical support and/or direction as needed

Other duties as assigned

Minimum Education Required

AA Degree or equivalent combination of education/work experience in related discipline strongly preferred

Minimum Experience Required

3+ years’ experience working in production required

AA Degree or equivalent combination of education/work experience in related discipline strongly preferred

Extensive experience in performing quality control procedures and meeting production standards

Working knowledge of computers and office software

Strong technical and mechanical aptitude

Excellent organizational and time management abilities

Great communication and collaboration skills

Keen attention to detail and problem-solving technique

Job Benefits

The target hourly range is $22.00 - $27.00, depending upon qualifications and experience. This position qualifies for a shift differential of $3.00 per hour. The posted pay range reflects the expected compensation for a fully qualified candidate. Starting pay may be above or below this range based on job-related factors such as skills, experience, qualifications, and training needs.

In addition to hourly pay, the compensation package also includes eligibility for profit-sharing and monthly bonus opportunity.
