Job Description
Our Education client is looking to build their network engineering team to help install, configure, and test 7 components of their network architecture. These include LAN, WLAN, VoIP, Fiber Backbone, PA, Camera, and Intrusion. Their LAN includes Cisco Routers and Alcatel Switches, with Cisco and Aruba WAP within their WLAN. Their Cisco VoIP, PA, Axis cameras, and DMP Intrusion are connected to their Local network. This team requires flexible working schedules including working the 2nd shift which is from 1p-9p. Each network engineer will need an active CCNA and a Genetec certification. They will be on the field about 80% of the time. The first batch of projects that will be prioritized include Camera and Intrusion. We expect our engineers to configure the cameras and local servers, install Axis cameras, onboard cameras, adjust angles, and assign IP address. In addition to, upgrading intrusion panel from analog DSC System to new DMP Panel, with minor configuration and primarily supporting UAT. These engineers will be communicating with the technology vendors as well.

Skills and Requirements
3+ years of experience installing, configuring, and upgrading 7 core components (LAN, WLAN, VoIP, Camera Systems, Physical Intrusion Systems, PA Systems, and Fiber Backbone)
LAN and Wireless LAN configuration and installation of routers and switches (i.e., Alcatel, Cisco, HP/Aruba)
Hands on experience with VoIP installation and configuration; some environments will be moving from PBX to digital (i.e., Cisco)
Professional experience configuring and installing camera systems, like Axis, to adjust camera angles, and assign IP addresses
Exposure to Physical Intrusion Systems; upgrading from analog DSC to a new DMP panel (mainly acceptance testing and minor configuration of IP Addresses)
Active CCNA Certification
