HVAC & Refrigeration Service Engineer (Mobile) Password Services (Part of Johnson Controls) Location: Birmingham – Watford corridor

This is a mobile role where you’ll focus on the service, maintenance, and repair of HVAC and commercial refrigeration systems, ensuring equipment operates efficiently and reliably.
What You’ll Do
- Service, maintain, and repair HVAC and refrigeration equipment
- Fault find on systems including AHUs, chillers, cold rooms, display cabinets, cellar cooling, and ice machines
- Carry out planned maintenance and reactive repairs
- Deliver first-time fixes where possible
- Complete accurate service reports and documentation
- Build strong relationships with clients on-site
- Participate in an on-call rota (with paid overtime & standby)
What We’re Looking For

Proven experience in HVAC and/or refrigeration service

Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills

Experience working on commercial refrigeration systems

Background in hospitality, retail, or similar environments is beneficial

Ability to work independently in a field-based role Essential:

F-Gas certification

NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in Refrigeration / Air Conditioning

Full UK driving licence Desirable:

Basic gas knowledge or qualifications
