Manage all field operations for medium to large-sized projects from kickoff through completion

Recruit, train, mentor, and supervise field personnel and project staff

Serve as the primary operational liaison between the project team and customer representatives

Develop staffing plans and manage labor resources to meet project schedules and milestones

Monitor installation progress and ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget

Track project financial performance, labor productivity, and operational efficiency

Review project costs, invoicing, change orders, and financial reporting for accuracy

Conduct job site walkthroughs and quality inspections to maintain workmanship standards

Ensure compliance with company, customer, and safety requirements

Troubleshoot technical, operational, and installation issues in the field

Manage project documentation, closeout packages, work orders, change orders, and as-built drawings

Lead project coordination meetings, operational reviews, and training sessions

Improve operational processes and identify opportunities to enhance project execution

Oversee tool, vehicle, and equipment management for assigned projects

Maintain strong relationships with customers and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle

Skills and Requirements

3+ years of supervisory, management, or superintendent-level experience

5+ years of experience in telecommunications, structured cabling, low-voltage systems, or a related construction/technical field

3+ years of experience as a Lead Communications Technician, Foreman, or similar field leadership position

Proven experience managing projects from scope development through final turnover

Ability to create estimates, define scopes of work, develop project plans, and manage execution to completion

Strong understanding of structured cabling and telecommunications infrastructure installations

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, construction drawings, and project documentation

Experience managing labor, project budgets, schedules, and overall project profitability

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Project)

Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills

Valid driver's license and ability to travel within assigned territory

Ability to work in active construction environments, including ladders, confined spaces, and large job sites
