Job Description
Job Title: Retirement Plan Client Services Associate
FLSA Status: Exempt
Department: Wealth Management & Trust
Hours of Operation: Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
General Job Summary:
Provide assistance and direction to administrative and investment officers, and their clients, with an emphasis on Retirement Plan Services.
Organizational Duties and Responsibilities:
Supports the mission, vision and philosophy of the Bank. Complies willingly with all organizational policies and procedures.
Supports all functions that maintain compliance with regulatory agencies.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide assistance and direction to administrative and investment officers, and their clients, regarding account relationship activities and business operations
Provide support and exceptional customer service to Retirement Plan Services clients, recordkeepers, and third-party administrators
Ability to learn and utilize numerous recordkeeping systems
Coordinate plan and investment changes with appropriate parties
Anticipate client and officer needs in all situations; proactively identify problem areas for improvement
Communicate effectively with clients, internal and external, either verbally or in writing
Maintain accounts from setup to closing, appropriately alerting officers of important changes and/or issues
Exercise independent judgment in regard to account matters, general client requests or questions, and determine appropriate response and follow up
Prepare client presentations for current clients
Prepare proposal presentations for prospective clients
Assist with required client annual reviews and clearing exceptions
Maintain service standard activities, COI activities, and other required calling activities
Other Functions:
Special projects, research, and other duties as assigned
Provide office coverage and support in emergency situations

Minimum Job Requirements:
Education: BA/BS preferred; or equivalent business experience
Experience: At least -1 year in Retirement Plan Services or equivalent related experience
