APPRENTICE HOUSRS: MONDAY TO FRIDAY 8:00AM -4:30PM

LOCATION-CARE CENTER, SOUTHGATE

ONCE THE APPRENTICE IS COMPLETED WILL CONVERT TO MAMMOGRAPHY TECHNOLOGIST. THIS WILL THEN BE PART TIME, ROTATING DAYS FROM 8AM TO 4:30PM. LOCATION-CARE CENTER, SOUTHGATE

Scope of work

Under general supervision and according to established policies and procedures perform diagnostic Mammography exams utilizing appropriate imaging equipment. Technologists must demonstrate good clinical skills and provide the best possible images for interpretation while applying ALARA principles of radiation protection.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent Required

  • Associates degree. Graduated from accredited Radiography program required.

  • CRT-Radiologic Technologist Registration - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Must remain in good standing with ARRT Upon Hired Required.

  • CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) – AHA American Heart Association or Red Cross
