Full job description
Our client, a leading distribution and logistics organization, is seeking a dedicated 1st shift Shipping/Receiving Clerk and Distribution to join their team. As a vital member of the distribution department, you will support shipping, receiving, inventory management, and material handling operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to teamwork, aligning seamlessly with the company's commitment to safety, efficiency, and excellence.
Job Title: 1st shift Shipping/Receiving Clerk and Distribution
Location: Cedarburg, WI
Pay Range: $18
Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM (Friday 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM)
What's the Job?

Perform shipping and receiving functions, including preparing and dispatching parcels using FedEx, UPS, and other shipping portals

Assist with inventory management, cycle counting, and stock replenishment to ensure accuracy and availability

Unload trucks and handle materials efficiently, maintaining safety and organization standards
-
Utilize Voice/RF devices for precise tracking and location of inventory items
-
Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant work environment adhering to all regulatory standards
What's Needed?
-
Some parcel shipping experience, including familiarity with FedEx and UPS portals
-
Basic computer skills and familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS)

Ability to read and interpret customer order requirements and apply basic math skills
-
Certification for forklift and pallet jack operation is preferred

Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
