What You’ll Do
As a Cook 2 , you’ll play a key role in food preparation and execution, working under the direction of the Sous Chef to ensure consistency, quality, and efficiency in the kitchen.

Prepare and cook food using advanced techniques (charbroil, sauté, fry, roast, griddle, poach, and more)

Monitor food quality and ensure all dishes meet presentation standards

Prepare ingredients (wash, chop, slice, peel, etc.)
-
Follow standardized recipes and preparation methods
-
Taste and garnish dishes prior to service
-
Control waste through proper portioning and production levels
-
Maintain proper food storage, labeling, and temperature standards
-
Support kitchen operations including setup, service, and cleanup
-
Keep a clean, organized, and safe work environment
-
Rotate inventory to ensure freshness and minimize waste

Strong knowledge of cooking techniques and kitchen operations

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment

Attention to detail in food quality, taste, and presentation

Team player with a strong sense of accountability
Requirements

Ability to read and follow recipes

Proficiency in cooking techniques including charbroiling, sautéing, frying, roasting, griddling, and poaching

2+ years of experience as a broiler or sauté cook in a high-end, high-volume restaurant
