Job Summary:

A Production System Operator in food manufacturing safely runs, monitors, and cleans processing/packaging machinery to meet production schedules, quality standards, and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) guidelines. They troubleshoot equipment, perform quality checks, and document production data to ensure food safety and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Work Order & Label Management

  • Print Work Orders, labels, pallet tags

System Operations

  • Update Fishbowl and OC during production

  • Verify batch record accuracy and close WO post-run

Inventory & Reporting

  • Monitor inventory and investigate discrepancies

  • Enter yield and material usage for reporting

Coordination Support

  • Support coordination between production and quality

Qualifications:

High School Diploma

Hiring Requirements:

  • Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 20 pounds

  • Computer literate and able to understand different manufacturing operating systems. (1-2 yrs exp.)
