As a part of a diverse team of welders, fabricators, engineers, and operators, you will weld and fabricate converters for aerospace applications with manual GTAW (TIG welding.) This position will report to the Contact Supervisor and be an integral member in ensuring safety, quality, and productivity standards are met.
The ideal candidate will:

Be able to work day shift.

Be coachable and have experience working in a highly diverse team of ideas and functions.

Have the ability to prioritize safety of self and coworkers.

Have the flexibility to work overtime as assigned for business-critical needs.
Qualifications:
Required:
-
High school diploma, GED, or technical (2 yr) degree, required.
-
Ability to perform basic visual weld inspections.
-
Ability to read and translate prints, drawings, etc. and interpret codes, procedures, and work instructions.
-
Have basic math skills to perform measurements.
-
Must have experience meeting quality specs and standards per design specifications.

Experience utilizing measurement tools (calipers, gauges, etc.)
Preferred:
-
Preferred experience with manual GTAW (TIG Welding) welding with stainless steel or 625 Inconel materials for 3+ years.
-
Preferred experience with thin materials (0.063"-0.025").
-
Preferred experience or previous weld certifications of AWS D17.1 standards.
-
Preferred experience fitting up, welding joints, and utilizing fixtures to weld.

Preferred experience in troubleshooting joint fit ups, welding issues, etc.

The competitive Starting Pay Rate for this role is: $25.00-$30.00/hr. Actual pay will be determined based on education, certifications, experience, and other job-related factor permitted by law.
