About the Role: Right at Home Des Moines is looking for a compassionate and dedicated CNA/HHA to join our team for 12-hour day shifts in West Des Moines, IA. Responsibilities:

Provide personal care assistance including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene support

Assist clients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation to ensure safety and comfort

Monitor and document client health status, reporting any changes to supervisors

Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and ensuring proper nutrition and hydration

Perform light housekeeping duties including laundry, cleaning, and errands
-
Provide companionship and emotional support to clients and their families

Adhere to individualized care plans and maintain accurate care documentation
Requirements:

Active CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) or HHA (Home Health Aide) certification in Iowa
-
Previous experience in home care, assisted living, or a similar healthcare setting preferred

Ability to work 12-hour day shifts reliably and consistently

Strong interpersonal and communication skills with clients and families

Compassionate, patient, and dependable with a client-first attitude

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required

Must pass a background check and meet all state compliance requirements
