Manages all aspects of Medicare reporting information to insure optimum payment according to the Omnibus Reconciliation Act 1987 (OBRA) and Perspective Payment System (PPS) regulations and federal guidelines. Manages a work area in the Jefferson House environment to ensure that a high quality, cost-effective service is delivered by the department in support of the hospital's strategic plan, and the function's goals and objectives. * Current CT Nursing License. BSN preferred * One or more years MDS experience * Demonstrated and applied knowledge of Omnibus Reconciliation Act (OBRA) and Perspective Payment Systems (PPS) regulations. * Computer proficiency required. * Excellent assessment and communication skills.
