Work hours: 55 hours/week, Monday - Saturday, 9 hours/day, (10 hours on Mondays) 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Job Duties:
Job requires the operation of tractors, skid loaders, ATVs, grain trucks, and other various equipment. Job requires handling incoming, binned, and outgoing grain; operating augers, grain conveying equipment, and grain dryers; receiving crop for drying and storage at grain storage facility; dumping grain and loading rail cars or trucks; cleaning grain spills; inspecting grain for insects, moisture, and foreign material while unloading grain trucks; selecting flow pipes; setting trippers; selecting storage tanks to convey grain into storage or appropriate destination; maintaining the quality of grains; blending grains; performing general maintenance, repairs and/or clean-up of facilities; sweeping and shoveling grain; ensuring operational areas are organized and well maintained; using hand tools and equipment to repair, clean and maintain farm vehicles, machinery and specialized machinery and agricultural equipment; and regularly servicing equipment.
There are few typical days and workers may be required to change duties and/or locations often and engage in various general functions.
Daily duties may vary depending on crop, weather, and field conditions.

Minimum Education Required
None. No High School Diploma or GED required.
Minimum Experience Required
Minimum of 2 months experience required.
Must be able to lift at least 75 lbs.
Job requires having or being able to obtain a Class D driver's license within 30 days of hire.
Basic English literacy skills are required.
Job will require periods when workers may be exposed to varying weather conditions and extensive sitting, walking, stooping, or bending.
Random drug testing may occur post-hire at the employer's expense.

Additional Compensation
Wage offer is $13.19 per hour for all work performed in SD.
Wage offer is $14.60 per hour for all work performed in MN.
The employer reserves the right to increase workers' pay or provide bonuses based on tenure, performance, or other factors that are solely based on the discretion of the employer.
As required for all workers in Minnesota, hours worked in excess of 48 hours in a work week will be paid at the rate of 1.5 times the regular rate of pay.

Job Benefits
EMPLOYER ASSURANCES: Work guaranteed for 3/4 of contract period, starting with date of arrival at work site. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $16.78 per day during travel to a maximum of $68.00 per day with receipts (Updated 04/07/2026). Required work-related tools and supplies provided free of charge by employer.
Effective Jan 1, 2024, per MN State Statute, an employee will earn one hour of paid sick and safe time for every 30 hours worked, up to at least 48 hours of accrued Earned Sick and Safe Time (ESST) per year, provided the employee works a minimum of 80 hours in a calendar year.
